Special Session 4: Generative AI and Foundation Models for Next-Generation Signal Processing

Generative AI is reshaping signal processing. From speech enhancement to wireless channel modeling, generative models offer new capabilities for signal synthesis, enhancement, and simulation in complex and dynamic environments. This session invites contributions on the application of generative AI across the broad landscape of signal processing. Topics of interest span wireless communications, radar sensing, acoustic and speech processing, biomedical signals, as well as methodological advances addressing challenges such as scarce data, physical constraints, robustness, and efficient deployment. We welcome researchers working at the intersection of generative AI and signal processing to share their latest findings and help shape the future of this rapidly evolving field.

The scope includes but not limited to the following fields:

  1. Applications of Classical Generative Models in Signal Processing
  2. Applications of Frontier Generative Technologies(Diffusion Models, Large Models, Foundation Models, etc.)in Signal Processing
  3. Applications of Generative AI in Wireless Communications, Radar Sensing, Acoustic and Speech, and Biomedical Signals
  4. Generative Solutions for Scarce Data, Robustness, and Physical Constraints
  5. Research on Lightweight Deployment, Real-Time Inference, and Trustworthiness of Generative Models
